I called York Plumbing after finding a leak in the basement that was coming through the floorboards. Greg was cordial on the phone, told me he would call back in an hour when he was finished with the job he was currently working on. He called when he said he would, showed up at my place when he said he would, was very pleasant and nice, and got right down to the problem. He found the source of the leak (and didn’t make fun of me for not being able to find it myself as it was not exactly as hidden as I thought) in just a couple minutes. He fixed it quickly and charged me a lot less than he originally said it would cost. If ever I need a plumber again, I’ll be calling Greg!

I had emergency plumbing when my water heater broke on a Sunday night and flooded my basement recently. Being a Sunday I had no idea when a plumber would be able to respond to my needs, Greg was able to respond quickly and professionally. He showed up and immediately put me at ease with the situation. The basement was cleaned and he went above an beyond to find out that my water heater was under warranty and was able to get the replacement for me. He identified areas that the previous plumber had missed and reasons for the broken water heater. Once these issues were identified he walked me through what he would correct and made sure I understood what work he was doing, and why he was doing it. I cannot thank him enough for the wonderful work that was done and I would recommend his work to others in the future.

York Plumbing converted our home from oil to gas. Huge job in a small house in Nahant. Professional, reliable and did not inconvenience me throughout the entire job – and I work from home. Great job!

We have used York Plumbing the last 2 years and have been really pleased with the service. He has fixed toilets, sinks, faucets, shower heads, installed sub pumps and the list goes on. We have not had to wait long for a job as he had done everything in a timely fashion. Not only that he is very knowledgeable but I would also go so far as to say passionate about plumbing. He explains everything to the customer in layman terms so that you do not feel like you are being taken advantage of. I would definitely refer him and have done so in the past.

I had a water heater that was past its sell by date. I contact York plumbing and Drains to see if they would be interested. Greg responded promptly to my call. The property is a rental and Greg dealt with my Tenant for access to the property. The process was seamless and efficient. At the finish of the Water Heater replacement he emailed me a picture of the completed job ( A Picture is worth a thousand words ). I was very impressed with the ease in dealing with Greg at York Plumbing and drains and would highly recommend them for any plumbing problems.

Called York Plumbing and Drains, we had a drain that was really messed up, big problem, I’m not sure what he did exactly, but he fixed the drain, and we’ve not had any problems since. The other plumber that we called prior to calling York had really messed the pipe up, and it was a constant problem that York was able to quickly sort out. The rates were reasonable for the quality of work, Greg York was a personable guy, explained what was going on with our plumbing, and we were happy with the work done.
